Warranty Terms
1. Warranty Coverage
HEKA Singapore (“HEKA”, “we”, “us”) warrants that our mattresses are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 15 years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the mattress and is non-transferable.
2. What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers the following defects under normal usage:
- Malfunctioning of mechanical components such as pistons integral to the operation of the suspension adjustment system
- Sagging or indentations in the sleep surface greater than one inch, not associated with an improper foundation or platform.
- Physical flaws in the mattress causing the foam to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear or any condition resulting from misuse or abuse of the mattress.
- Comfort preference or mattress firmness expectations.
- Damage resulting from improper use, including but not limited to improper storage, care, or maintenance.
- Damage associated with the use of an improper bed frame, foundation, or adjustable base.
- Mattresses sold by other retailers or resellers.
- Mattresses sold “as-is”, “pre-conditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “comfort return”, or any other similar wording indicating that the mattress is not “new” or of “first quality”, or has previously been purchased or used by another consumer.
4. Making a Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at enquiries@hekasleep.sg with your proof of purchase, photographs of the defect, and a detailed description of the issue.
If your claim is approved, we will at our discretion either repair the defective mattress or replace it with a model of equivalent quality and value. The decision to repair or replace will be made solely by HEKA. In the event of a replacement, the original warranty will continue from the date of the original purchase and not from the date of the replacement.
5. Transportation Costs
The costs associated with the return of the mattress to HEKA and the delivery of the repaired or replaced mattress to you will not be covered by HEKA and shall be your responsibility.
6. No Other Warranties
This warranty is the exclusive warranty given by HEKA and supersedes any prior, contrary or additional representations, whether oral or written. No employee or representative of HEKA or any third party is authorised to make any warranty in addition to those made in this agreement.
7. Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
